On Saturday, after searching for "her" since the beginning of March, we finally brought home "our girl":
She is a LH black-eyed cream and she comes from a very good breeder based in Bath. She's only eight weeks old but already she's just about the same size as Treacle, Custard and Mocha - so I think she's going to be big! (I put two loo-roll tubes in the cage for her - she's already too big to fit through them).
She seems to be settling in well - it's already obvious that she's a lot more used to human contact than our three pet-shop hams were when we got them. She isn't 100% sure of us yet but we got her out for the first time last night and she allows herself to be picked up and placed on our laps to explore
She absolutely adores her wodent wheel:
Our only probelm with her is her name - we have a few ideas and wanted to continue with our food/drink theme:
Caramel
Crunchie (Will likes choccy bar names - these are the only two that seem appropriate as the others all make her sound brown!)
Toffee
Parsnip
Saffron
Latte
