Haha, I have a hamster named Bacardi as well!

I always considered Silent Spinners Gods gift to man. I have one for all six of my hammies, and even more as spares hehe. The only one of my hams who spins off his is Moon. But Moon does a lot of silly things. Bacardi is my main runner, and she tears it up on that thing but I've never seen her fall off of it except when startled. Otherwise she slows to a stop. They do learn very quickly...unless its Moon haha! But he's always okay. His spinner is smaller and he fits in it very nicely and if he does fall he doesnt go far.
