Rach if you are able to come round saturday night I'm happy to help tame her like I did with Fudge I don't blame you for being nervous you weren't brought up wih animals like me and it didn't help that the first time you held your first hamster he bit you! Its just a matter of confidence in yourself really The first time I held Twinkle (she hadn't been handled by her previous owner) she lept straight out of my hands but I kept calm, picked her up gave her a break then tried again and 2 days later you'll never believe it but she was fine - the trickis not to worry, keep calm and if she does jump try again once she has calmed down and rested.
