After Little Mo was pts, I was definitely not intending to get another hammy for a long while - I felt it would be replacing her too soon and nothing could ever take her place. But....... 2 or 3 weeks later I spotted Daisy needing a new home and couldnt resist helping her, and to be honest welcoming her into my home helped me sooo much. I still had Mo's cage set up as she left it, and seeing that empty was making me sad every day - I had a great big void in my life. Of course I stilled missed mo terribly, and did feel bad loving Daisy - guilty..but Daisy has helped fill a great big hole. I think I'd still be really depressed now if I didnt have Daisy to look after.

So, as others have said only you can say if it feels right to get another, but I know it certainly helped me
