When we open a food pack we immediatly transfer it to a tupperware or glass jar with a sealed lid. Only open enough food that you will use quickly.

oooh ok, thanks, ill have to get an airtight container for her treats. i use the hamster food that comes in resealable plastic bags... should i get a container for that too? and while im on that with the hamster, should i do the same for my 'tiels?
