I’m always so iffy about the "Siberian" or "dwarf Russian" hamster on pets stores like petco and petsmart just because it doesn’t really tell you if they are Campbell's or Winter Whites.

But from looking at pictures of WW here on the forum it seems that WW have a more rounded nose similar to that of the Roborovski.. But it still hard to tell for me.

Both the Campbell’s and WW seems to have that white eyebrow and are similar in color. Well good luck with that! When I’m looking for a certain rodent like hamsters or gerbils Ill type in for example on google..

"Winter white hamster breeders" "or " winter white hamster breeders list" or "winter white hamster breeders USA" or you can type in what state particularly. It will usually bring up websites with breeders links or msn groups with breeders links..

This is how I found my new gerbil sam.. I just googled until I found a fairly local breeder that had what I wanted, had to drive an hour to a meeting place though!
