This is Lady Emma Hamilton on her first day home. She only has one eye (children got too rough with her and it came out) and was left on the street to be cat fodder. Fortunately someone found her, brought her to the vet hospital and my vet called me to ask if I'd take her. I've never had a Russian before so I'm still learning but even though she's still a bit scabby(!) she's quite cute.
I would have called her Nelson if she were a boy but as she's a little girl I decided to name her after the love of his life - Lady Emma Hamilton.
