Question Stitch

Hi everyone,

It’s been years since I’ve posted, and great to still see some familiar names flying about.

I’ve recently got a new 6 week old Syrian boy. He’s a cutie and I love his markings.

He’s the first hamster I’ve had that loves to burrow a lot, so I just ordered a huge 85l bag of bedding. Excited to fill up the cage even more than usual for him.

He’s settled in okay, but does seem to get spooked easy and once something spooks him he will just freeze in place and eventually fall asleep (even if I leave him alone he will sit in the same spot for hours, sometimes in the most unusual places, and at first he scared me as I thought he had died.
Has anyone got any tips to get him used to movement around the house?
