Re: New Syrian Hammy and help thread!
I am using the Tiny Friends Chinchilla Bath Sand at the moment. I was just wondering if he would like a small part of the cage with some sand as he digs a lot into the small sand box I have for him. I think will a bigger sand tray for him then.
I have seen the JR Sand at Zooplus but I never got it. I will give it a try, if its already sterilized then it saves me the work of shifting and baking.
He is still a bit stressed in his new environment. I put my hand in his cage a couple of times to give him food. he smelled me, didn't bite me but he run away. he gets stressed when I try to approach him.
