Default What Colour Is Almond?

Could someone help me out and identify what colouring Almond is? Been trying to compare photos of her online but haven’t been having much success determining her colour.
Almond is my new girl who I adopted a little over a week ago who is 7-9 months old. As she still settling in and is only starting to get over her nerves these are the best photos I have at the time being.

I am no expert! But she looks like a cinnamon to me - although has more white patches. Congratulations on your new girl - she is lovely.

I think she's a Golden. She is quite a light Golden but that sometimes happens when they are carrying a recessive gene usually cream. The very dark ears and the black eyes make me pretty sure she isn't cinnamon. She also appears to have ticking (the black flecks on the end of her fur) She's a cutie for sure

Thanks you all. See I didn’t think she was Cinnamon as her black eyes and dark ears aren’t a trait of the Cinnamon. I did think possible golden but her ivory belly is what threw me - can a recessive cream gene do this to the golden gene? As I thought Goldens usually have white bellies if I’m not mistaken - she does have a white stripe down her belly. Or do light Goldens have ivory belly and lighter cheek flashes. Yes she does have black ticking to her fur.
So I was suspecting potentially yellow as thought she couldn’t been golden without the black cheek flashes - as from this link https://www.midlandhamsterclub.co.uk...er/yellow.html - the standards matched her more. But then I’m no expert on colours.

As soon as I saw a photo of her it was love at first sight and knew she had to be mine. She a lovely girl and just starting to discover her personality from bonding she not scared to climb over me but she very wary of my hands at the moment.

Ria P, this is her cage before she came home not tidy like this anymore. It a DIY IKEA STUVA internal dimension are 122 by 58cm and 50cm high.

The belly of a golden is Ivory with a grey undercoat and looks greyish usually as the fur is so short. The way to distinguish between yellow and golden is to look at the undercoat. The golden will have a dark slate grey undercoat where as Yellows have an Ivory yellow undercoat. The exhibition standards are here but remember these are for the 'perfect' hamster and no hamster is perfect in every area!
If she does have 'yellow' patches she could be a Golden tort so check all the areas for undercoat and see if any have yellow roots with other areas showing grey roots. The shorter the hair area the less undercoat you see which is why faces often look paler

Oh okay thank you for this information it’s very informative . She not fond of being touched yet so once she comfortable will have a look at her undercoat. That why I was getting confused with colours as I know she initially came from a pet store so she won’t have the perfect colouring - so trying to compare her to photos and standards couldn’t find a match.
Also thanks for that link too I’m fascinated by Syrian colours will have a read through that one as well.

Amazing cage set up as usual SKB. You are very creative and it looks an amazing home for a hamster. I couldn't make it look like that if I tried!
