Re: Introducing Twinkle
Thanks guys. I did feel bad about sharing it for Twinkle's sake (like he has a clue what I do 😂 but it was too funny not to share.

I never thought of Boris until I read it here and your mam is spot on, 100%. Twinkle looks like Boris, or Boris look like Twinkle (whichever you prefer).

Re: Introducing Twinkle
Update on Twinkle's Cage.
I added a dig tower, originally filled with coir soil which took me a week or more to dry out, but then I got too worried about maintaining the right conditions for it, so I just replaced it with bedding. I intend to put food in their as a boredom breaker for Twinkle. I Will use the coir to grow micro greens for the hammies instead.
I did have the dig box where the house is on the left, but had to swop around as that is the spot he goes to when he wants to come out and he kept falling into the hole on the dig box!!!
He seems to love the long ladder at the back, as he can now do a zoomie all along the front, over his sand bath and all along the back - so thanks again to Ria for her suggestion.
I did add a wicker tunnel from the ceiling, but once again Twinkle could climb up the outside and dangle from it, so I am going to try an old tiny friends sandbath tube as I don't think he will be able to climb up the outiside of that. so annoying, as he dives in and out the tunnels all the time, i could also try a plastic one, right along the front, from left to right,
I'm still not 100% happy with it, I think I think it just looks boring compared to my robo setup, but because you can use smaller things in a robos cage you can fit more in.
I have quite a few xmas things to add in this weekend so hopefully that will give Twinkle more things to play with.

Re: Introducing Twinkle
I've looked at Twinkle's set up quite a few times now, went away, looked again trying to figure out what it is that you're not happy with because i like it.
I get that sometimes, the feeling that something is missing.
I resolve that by plonking a kitchen roll "tree" right in the middle or thereabouts like i did in Frieda's cage when i had this feling of something's not quite right.
A kitchen roll en naturelle or give it a lick of plastikote, stick a few millet sprays in it and there you have a tree.....which has a habit of losing its leaves.
