Your skills are fantastic and the set up is just amazing!! I love it. Mocha must be one of the luckiest hamsters on this forum.

There is one thing you could improve on: you could upholster your seat/storage section or make a nice seat pad with a coffee design maybe?

Mocha is to die for. Such a precious baby. I love the cage and that huge sand bath! It warms my heart when i see such amazing cage. I really like your multi chamber hideout, did you make that yourself? Its truly wonderful and honestly, im jealous of Mocha, i want to live in there.

Thank you so much, that is a huge compliment!

I was initially very insecure about not knowing anything about hamsters before I started all this, but I'm so grateful for all the knowledge I found around here and from other hamster lovers to help me create what I have. Research really pays off and they do deserve the best we can give, always.

I actually sit in that spot with a cushion to have my morning tea when I suspect he's in there awake and half of the time he pokes his head out for a peek and a snuggle. It is such a nice feeling. If I didn't have to lift the lid to get his stuff out all the time I'd make it my permanent spot.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate that!

I'm not sure which you are referring to, likely his first brown one?
Either way, I made them both. Haha. He outgrew that house so incredibly quick so I just made him a bigger one which is now in his new enclosure. He moved in straight away so he approved.

Thank you, warms my heart.
I do miss my cat boys so much, but giving Mocha a home was a pretty natural and immediate next step. I'll spoil him rotten!

Mocha came out for a short morning stroll and forage

I'm starting to feel like I wasn't told the truth when I got him about his age, he seems to have been younger. According to them he was a month and a half (4 weeks when they got him to the shop and stayed there for two weeks before I found him). Is it even possible to guess age just based on size?
All the same though, he's clearly a growing boy.

Tonight I will fill up the parts of his enclosure that are a bit low on bedding with a lot more, apart from the wheel area. I feel like it'll encourage his burrowing further and make it all a lot cozier.
