Night Cam on Star the Hamster

Star has well and truly had me hoodwinked. I thought she has been on her last legs (literally) the last month or so. So I set up the night cam to see if she was getting up at all. The last 2 nights she's got up for 2.5-3 hours after 2 am and she is like a little maniac - using her wheel (I rarely see her use her wheel in her cage when I am about) I even found footage of her climbing the bars - I have not seen her climb the bars since I first got her... ohh the little devillllll.

I was awake last night at this time as worried about her as she didn't wake up earlier like she normally does, so when I got her out, I couldn't keep up with her , speedy gonzales.. I guess I found out when she is wide awake!

Hahahaha your description of Star's antics made me laugh!

I'm so glad she is so active, that is s great sign. I've wanted to put a night vision camera in my little ones' cages to see what they get up to. I bet all our hamsters would surprise us with their antics if we knew what they get up to when we are sleeping.

Hi all... I have night vision camera in the cage for my hamster. It was part of my xmas gift from husband... it is brilliant, specially on the very beginning when I did not want o disturb my hammy, it was so joyful to watch Him explore and play with his new toys etc. Definetely one toy to keep for me ��

Lol!! Hamsters can be little sods, getting us all worried and waiting patiently in their houses until we have gone to bed before they come out to indulge in a very busy nightlife!

I have watched Henry at midnight poking his head out and looking from side to side - one sniff of a human and he's back in his house!
