Please advice...
please could anybody advise. Can I put some Cat litter substrate ( just a little into the hamster place where He sleeps. I have Mike for just over the month, he was peeing all over and now he settled for his little house. I have tried to move it to another corner and put in this one loo litter and little toilet but NO...still peeing in his house. I am changing his bedding in the house now every other day and he does not mind so far, i provide plenty toilet paper, which he loves and he does not mind making new nest in this same house, but i was wondering could i perhaps put some cat littler on the bottom of the house, or would that be to uncomfortable for my little friend?

No, cat litter is not suitable for hamsters.
What kind of hamster is he? If he is a Syrian then he needs a big, bottomless house, big enough for a big nest and hoard and a peeing corner. A shoebox would do fine with the bottom cut out and the lid as a lift off roof. The Ferplast guinea pig house is good too and used by my Syrian. A labyrinth house is even better but more expensive. You can put a corner toilet or dish in his peeing corner inside the house filled with substrate.
A dwarf also needs a house big enough for a nest, hoard and peeing corner and most importantly, all hamsters need a house without a base. The tiny plastic houses that come with a cage are no good for sleeping in.
I'd locate the peeing place, put the toilet filled with paper substrate, wood chips or sand there and then put a big house or cardboard box over it. See how that goes.

Forgot to say, put a bit of the peed on substrate in the toilet too because they follow their own scent....hopefully. Good luck
