Re: Pickle's Thread
Great photos! The one where he's on the pillow planning his escape is my favourite.

Re: Pickle's Thread
Looks like he's having a great time! Love the photos, especially the ones where he's perched on top of the cushions.

Re: Pickle's Thread
Cheers Ria and Cypher. I like the ones on top of the cushions too! He actually sat still for a bit while up there, having a look round. The toilet roll wasn't planned! I had an opened large pack of toilet rolls on the sofa (as I am sure everybody does ha ha) - waiting to be taken upstairs to the bathroom. Cleared the sofa before Pickle came out and picked up the pack to take it upstairs - came back and found one had fallen out. I nearly moved it and then thought Pickle might want to pouch some paper off it so left it and it could be the "hamster" toilet roll for nesting material.
What I didn't expect was Pickle to go through the toilet roll tube inner! Which as you know is a bit small for a good sized syrian unless slit down the side. Next thing his head was poking out of it. A slightly startled expression as it was a squeeze, then he wriggled and pulled himself through. Of course if he had got stuck it would have been a case of "cut all the toilet paper off quickly". He didn't attempt to do it again though!
It was a bit of a surprise but I quite like the photo of him emerging from it.

Re: Pickle's Thread
What great videos and photos of Pickle. Like the others, I think the ones of him on top of the cushions are cute, but have to admit that the one of him heading up the sofa behind the cushion made me chuckle. So typical! Another free roamer like Newt-must run in the family.
