LOL!! That wasn't a fun run but a protest run for making a racket upstairs. Hamsters are so funny in expressing themselves.

Re: Moo's thread
Congratulations Serendipity, Moo's absolutely stunning! When I first saw his thread, I thought of my Noah and actually went and checked his cage lol! So alike. So happy he's settled in and loves the sofa. A little beauty!

Re: Moo's thread
Hello Moo!
What a handsome man he is Serendipity, he looks & sounds like a very happy ham, lucky boy to have found a home with you.
The nose to nose thing sounds just too cute & adorable!

Re: Moo's thread
Thank you Cypher - apologies for the late response. Moo was extremely happy when I fixed his wheel recently and demonstrated it by running in it then stopping and giving me lools. He continues to do the nose thing - he is not scared of you at all. He is a bit scared of noises though. He has been out a couple of times in the evening since New Year and seems healthy and furry. He likes being stroked but he doesn't like being held and wants to be off.
It is quite interesting with two Syrians at the moment as Moo is the evening person and comes out in his cage as soon as food appears and potters around. Sometimes he wants to come out sometimes, he dithers a bit and can't make his mind up. He sits with his paws on the open door and you can see him nearly coming then, no I'll go back, no I'll go out, no I'll go back. Funny little thing. Pickle is more a morning hamster - he is often out and about in his cage fairly early morning and likes a bit of breakfast.
Maybe I should go on night shift so I'm awake when both of them are out and about!

Re: Moo's thread
I can imagine how pleased Moo was that you fixed his wheel for him, he does sound really sweet.

lol! I know what you mean, I have one morning ham, about 4am being his favourite time for interactions, one early evening & two late night boys!

Re: Moo's thread
He really is adorable. I think he's a bit different for being a rescue ham. He was well tamed by the rescue and seems comfortable with people. Recently he has been shunning coming out and doing his own thing - maybe he is still cross I didn't notice his wheel wasn't working. Or maybe he's just getting a bit older and happy pottering in his cage.
