Poppy is an odd one, she has some new favourite foods, she loves a little bit of cooked salmon I bake the salmon for us and one night she got her paws on a little bit left over and demolished it, she goes nuts for a little piece of fried egg white.

I have some concerns over Poppy, she seems to be her normal self no change there,
What I have noticed is she has a lump now I don't know if it is something in her pouch but it hasn't moved What is strange is it seems lumpy and one piece to the touch.
Popps is not off her food at all and her behaviour is still the same, will keep an eye on things and if needs be a vet visit will be on the cards.
If any one has any other ideas will be glad to hear.

It sounds like she may have an impacted pouch, basically a lump of food congealed & stuck in the pouch, it needs to be removed if it is that or it could set up an infection.
I had it happen once, I couldn’t get it out but the vet managed it easily enough.

Hi Cypher,
I am pleased to say it was as you suggested some food lodged in her pouch, with some massaging it finally came loose, though trying to massage a squirming fluff ball was not an easy job but got it done.
