Default Screaming in sleep

I got a new Syrian 2 days ago.

When I just fed him, he was sound asleep and when I closed the door he screamed, still asleep, I moved the house off him as he was half under it (a light plastic one). He screamed a little more (kinda and angry scream) and has carried on sleeping.

A few of my syrians have done this from time to time but have not been ill or seemed upset in any way,

Hope that reassures you.

Congratulations on your new hamster!

Just asking what were you feeding him??

Sometimes I give my Hammy Bear too many treats (guilty momma here lol I can't help it sometimes bc she is just so cute and good) so when she eats too much she'll "scream" in her sleep too but when I see her shes fine! I think shes had a stomach ache bc after a couple days shes fine and sleeping normal but anyway your hammy sounds like they'll be fine!
