Introducing my new Syrian!
She is a cute adopted hammy.
She was handed in by the bin collectors after she was found in a wheelie bin in a broken tiny cage.
We are unsure of her age but they thought just under 1 year but probably fully grown.
I'm going to take it easy and slow with her taming.
At the moment she seems very adventures and loves digging, her wheel and chewing
She is unsure on the sand bath and mealworms.

Re: Introducing my new Syrian!
Purplekat,
Well done for adopting your new Hammy, I can't believe that some one so heartless would have dumped her in a wheelie bin???
She looks lovely and by the look of her she has been well treated, have you thought of a name yet?
Lucky would be good given her circumstances.

Oo I like the way you have set up the alaska for her. She looks pretty. She is lucky to be alive. Honestly, some people.

She is so lucky to have found you. I hope they trace the person that dumped her and prosecute them. I also love the Alaska set up.

She is very sweet. I'm glad she has a good home with you now to make up for the dreadful start she's had.

What an awful thing to do and she looks so pretty as others have said. Looks like she has landed into a loving home and great cage. Congratulations PurpleKat.

Re: Introducing my new Syrian!
Frigg is the cuties name, I just watch her playing sometimes.
Started to feed her treats, she's too nervous to feed from my hand yet.
I've upgraded her sand bath as she loved soo much, it's about 2kg deep tub now!
