Re: gastric indigestion
This is her poo condition, more rounded and shorter than usual, sometimes soft like this and sometimes hard and in black colour.

Re: gastric indigestion
Poo is a little light but it is at least formed. Her stomach however looks very bloated and her ears are back as well. Does it feel hard or can you feel squishy fluid. Be carefull with her abdomen as you don't want to rupture anything. Would the vet scan her at all. This is a difficult time of year to get anything but emergency care.

Re: gastric indigestion
Yes, it is getting hard the past 2 days. I tried to give her baby food (pumpkin and chicken, cauliflower and cheese), she didn't eat any of them. She looks like cant control her pee today because she usually go at the specific corner but today she goes 3 times in the tube.

Re: gastric indigestion
Is she a pet shop ham? Some lines have been getting abdominal tumours and dying very young from these. I would watch her very closely for signs of pain. Something looks to be pressing on her bladder and causing her to wee a lot. I'm so sorry she is going through this but she does not look like a well hammy and you may need to think carefully about her life quality. x

Re: gastric indigestion
Yes she is from pet shop.
Some update and I think i may lose her tonight but I hope it is not gonna happen. She has been walking around since 7pm UK time and now she is trying to run on the wheel. I have moved the wheel, the second floor and the tube out from her cage just now. She looks so tired and sick now, whenever she stands still she looks like she is about to fall. I have called the vet emergency service, they said it doesn’t look like pyometra and they told me it’s not that urgent as long as she eats and poo and it’s a bit pricey, so they suggested us to call back tmr. And now it’s 1:46am, her heartbeats is beating faster then usual now and watery poo atm. Also we saw her discharge was in white colour at around 9pm

Re: gastric indigestion
I’m so sorry to hear about your ham being unwell. I can’t really give any other input on the situation. I do agree with souffle saying her stomach looks bloated. I really hope she will get through the night. Hugs to you. xxx

Re: gastric indigestion
Very sorry that she did not make it tooby.
Just want to help with your question. It depends on what you have available. If you cannot bury her in your own private garden area, then some of us buy a garden plant pot and bury the little one in that and plant something on top. That way, if you move where you live, you can take her with you.

Re: gastric indigestion
I'm so sorry for your loss, you did all you could for her but it's very sad that she's gone to the bridge now.
As Coco said many people use a large pot with a plant on top which is ideal if you don't have a garden or much space outside, if you do have a garden then it's nice to bury them & do something to make the place a little special, other people have their hams cremated & keep their ashes.
