Re: Wonder's Thread
She may be a little challenging to interact with but she is adorable to look at.

Re: Wonder's Thread
Yippee, I'm so happy that you and the gorgeous Wonder had found one another and she is now having the most amazing, loving home with you! I can't believe I haven't seen her wonderful and gorgeous thread up until now. I have been going through tons of stuff lately in my life, and I am so sorry that I'm so late in congratulating you on getting your new, precious ham-darling. She is a really charmer and incredibly beautiful. I love her expressions and her gorgeous markings. I love all of her amazing pics. She looks so happy and her personality is perfectly captured in all of her great photos. I especially love the first closeup pic with her inside her coconut hide - too cute and made my heart melt. I look forward to keeping up with all of her updates and seeing her beautiful pics, too. Congrats again, BethandLil; I'm really, REALLY happy for you both.

Re: Wonder's Thread
Hi all,
So sorry not to have checked in with you all lately!
I can assure you that Wonder is well
We have bonded quite a lot over the months. She does startle quite easily, but she has only bitten me once (on the toe!) and she puts up with my kisses and cuddles
She is still a bit 'snuffly' but it doesn't concern me so much now she is a bit more grown and doesn't present any other concerning symptoms.
Here are a few snaps of her -

I regularly update her instagram account, so feel free to follow her if you use it. The handle is: wonder_the_hamster
I hope you are all well!!
Love,
Beth and Wonder

Re: Wonder's Thread
I've finally built Wonder a new cage.
After much debate, we settled on the Ikea Linnmon diy cage.
I'm really pleased with how it came out.
I still need to build some additional pieces, including the lid, and fill it with more substrate.

Here's her previous cage

and here's her new mansion!

Lots of stuff to sort through!

I made her this water bottle stand today

I think she approves of the cage so far

Lovely to see Wonder and her gorgeous face! She looks very happy in that last photo. A big cage upgrade - I'm sure she'll enjoy that.
