A new lady in my life

After Lil's untimely death two weeks ago, I've had a big hamster shaped hole in my heart.

Today I picked up this little lady (yet to be officially named

)

She is confident and quite comfortable with hands being near her but i'm trying my best to leave her to settle in.

Here she is having just discovered the wheel

She's a little snuffly/squeaky, which is worrying me a bit.
I'm going to take her for a check up tomorrow to rule out a respiratory infection, etc.

Could be making noises because she is anxious/nervous?
I also thought she might be allergic to the wood chips she was being kept on. She is now on fitch.

Congratulations Beth on this lovely new lady!
I’m so happy that she is bring joy on your life after Lil’s passing. She is absolutely stunning! Her coloring is just so beautiful and she is to cute for words to describe! Her on her wheel is so cute! I have a few name suggestions, Lady

, Jillian, or Joey? I don’t know, I find it fun coming but with names! Can’t wait to hear more about taming and future adventures!

Hi all,

Thanks for all your sweet welcomes

she's a total heart melter.

Just on my way back from the vet visit.

The vet could hear a slight chest rattle with his stethoscope and could hear her squeaking a bit.
He has given me baytril and metacam and I'm going for a follow up on Monday.

She's only 76g. I so hope she is okay!
