Oh Teddy is absolutely lovely. Scout looks pretty cute as well.
Great cage set up. He is a lucky boy.

Re: Teddy's Thread(y)
Teddy looks lovely! Such a cute face.
Tank looks nice - I do suggest adding more bedding though (over double maybe triple) at least in half the cage. And probably putting the wheel on some kind of platform so it’s secure afterwards. Got a lot of height not being put to digging use right now, and that’s one of the best things about a tank! Digging is something hams really do enjoy doing.
Don’t worry about the extra bedding costs as this will mean you can do much less infrequent clean outs and really only replace the top layer, so it does work pretty well.

Thank you! I will do just that. And maybe use a wood block to attach the wheel to? Right now I have it attached to the bottom of the tank with double sided puffy tape.

Brilliant. Yeah I usually make simple plywood platforms for wheels that serve as a kind of house underneath - a wood block sounds absolutely fine though. Just anything to stop it sinking really.

Re: Teddy's Thread(y)
Teddy is loving life with his 8" substrate. He also enjoyed a green bean the other night - I thought these pics were super cute.

Re: Teddy's Thread(y)
Aw! Teddy looks so fluffy and actually looks like a teddy bear lol. So cute that he’s holding the bean with his little hands.
Wonderful that he’s enjoying his thicker bedding too, happy to hear it

I know - the little paws just KILL me. He is so fluffy - I would never do this, but it would be interesting to see how "big" he is without all of that fur! Our dog Scout is super fluffy as well, and when she takes a bath, it's hilarious to see how much smaller she is. Obviously won't be done for Teddy though!
