Re: Tazzie's Thread
Aww, Tazzie's photos are just incredibly adorable and too precious; I'm oohing and awing seeing that darling face and expressions of hers. She has totally melted my heart and I'm in love with this cutie pie. I love all of her pics, but the second one of her in post #16 is the one that really oozes the cuteness to new heights. That one makes me all giddy, lol.
I love her playtime, secret den; awesome job making it so extra special and interesting for her. I also love hearing all of about her mountain climbing expeditions; it truly sounds like the greatest time for you both. It makes me so happy for the both of you and I can't help giggling at the thought of it. I'm surprised she isn't currently keen on bananas yet; maybe she does just need a bit more opportunities to acquire the taste for them. Lol, Tassie playing tug-of-war with your tassels on your drawstring of your trousers. She is quite the playful ham and probably thought you brought those tassels just for her benefit of amusing herself with them. The second pic in the post #22 sure shows off her gorgeous color marking on top of her precious head - absolutely GORGEOUS color and spectacular, glorious whiskers. I'm glad that she decided to take the pumpkin seed from auntie; I'm sure it made her day. Those pics with the mug and food bowl are just too cute; it has been marvelous catching up on Tazzie's amazing thread. I now have cuteness overload and am as happy as can be. Thanks, Tazzie and Scarlett Empress! I hope that it gets cooler for the two of you soon so you can have a relief from all that heat. Fingers crossed.

Re: Tazzie's Thread
Tazzie is so beautiful - I just love her colouring/patterning! Love all these photos of her. Lovely to see the photos from her playtime and seeing her take a treat from her Aunty!
Her expressions are so gorgeous plus she looks very inquisitive - I especially love the photo of Tazzie coming out of her ceramic mug, plus the photo of her paws rested on the edge of the bowl and is looking at you and then one of her eating is so cute!
She is a very good weight - this has reminded me to way Maple!

Re: Tazzie's Thread
Thank you so much everyone for your lovely comments about Tazzie!
I got some more pictures of her the other night - playtime is still a bit hit and miss, so I try and give her interesting things to do in her cage for the days when she doesn't get up before I go to bed. She loves chewing cardboard and I tied this little box to her roof to give her a little hidey hole, as you can see she has had a good chomp at it.
In fact she has so much chewed up cardboard in her cage, I don't think I need to worry about buying Fitch for a while!
Here she is mooching about in her cage -
I scatter food on this cork tunnel. She's a bit weird about food! Whereas my other girls both gathered up everything they could find, Tazzie just seems to collect up enough food to see her through the day! Even treats - she will often just eat a bit of, say, a Harry Hamster Yippee, then leave the rest where she found it and come back to it over several days. I find this odd! Scattering her food is one of the things I do to keep her occupied, but she obviously can't see the point in it. I had pushed a monkey nut into a crevice on the cork.
Yay! Found it!
She got one nut out - then lost interest and left the other one for another day.
I'm not sure what she was doing here - just kind of slithering around.
I still need to get more practise handling her, she is not very easy to pick up and I usually use a tube to get her back in her cage after playtime. She just oozes through my fingers when I pick her up. Luckily she can't resist climbing into a tube. although persuading her to come out when I hold it up to the cage door is not always easy.

Re: Tazzie's Thread
Lots of great photos of the lovely Tazzie SE. She is a very impressive cardboard chomper indeed. They are funny with their little habits. Mocho always pouched up all treats at once but Maestro started by eating what he liked at the time and leaving the rest for later. Like Tazzie. I began to wonder if he pouched at all, then I realised he had a hoard so assumed he did. Now, more pouching goes on, but it took time.

Re: Tazzie's Thread
Aww, Tazzie really is a very photogenic, little beauty! I love all of her latest, amazing pics, but I have to say that my three favorite ones are the first and the last two. Tazzie, the champion cardboard chomper, really was extremely impressive making such a huge hole in her box, lol. Yep, there really is no more need to purchase Fitch when Tazzie's on the job making her own unique bedding, lol. I just had to laugh that she went through all the trouble of unlodging the monkey nut just to take only one of the peanuts out and leave the second one. She really is a very, VERY silly ham. I just love how each ham has their own, unique way of doing things; it is always so much fun to see all of the hams preferences, lol. Tazzie is just TOO cute!

Re: Tazzie's Thread
Tazzie's cage looks really great and she looks happy chomping away at her cardboard and the monkey nut antics so made me giggle. She's got such an innocent dace lol!
