Re: Maestro is here!
Glad to hear that Maestro is enjoying life. I've just spent a whole evening pottering about with the hamsters. They really help to create a feeling of normality in this surreal times.

Re: Maestro is here!
This morning my beautiful gentle Maestro went to the bridge.
He had been declining rapidly for a few days now. I did all I could to make his last days easy and comfortable.
Two years ago today I started this thread when I brought him home. Every day he brought me such delight and I am heartbroken now.
I am relieved that he went peacefully in his own home.
His memorial will follow soon.

Re: Maestro is here!
I'm so sorry Coco, I'm glad he was able to go peacefully at home where he was loved so much, I hope that will be bringing you some comfort at this sad time, it's always so very hard & my heart goes out to you.

Re: Maestro is here!
I'm also glad he was able to go peacefully at home, but still incredibly hard to lose him even if it was his time.

Re: Maestro is here!
Thank you both very much indeed. It has been a hard 24 hours. It always is, but in this difficult time in 2020, it was difficult to say goodbye.
