A month on from his second birthday and Maestro is still hamstering along.
His water drinking is steady at 40 mls a day and his weight has gone up to 182 recently. From this I am encouraged that he is eating properly although he is picky with his dry food but aren’t they all?! As long as he is eating and using his teeth, I feel he can eat what he likes. He is still mobile and able to use his slope up to his shelf and second house and use his rat sized Sputniks too. On that shelf is his second water bowl, the main one one being with his food on the roof of his house. He uses this second water bowl almost more than the other, perhaps because one Sputnik provides cover over it. I remain grateful to Ria P for suggesting this second bowl. If it was a psychological problem, then this second source seems to have helped reassure him and his intake has halved.
