Default Syrian Hamsters: How big for tunnels and hideouts?

I was at the petstore the other day and was looking for hideouts and tunnels I could use to add to my new cage but I completely forgot that Syrian Hamsters are bigger than other types. I got this:

https://www.kaytee.com/all-products/...land-get-a-way

its dimensions are : 4.5" long, 5" wide, 3.25" high

and honestly I'm pretty sure its too small!

I was also about to order these on Amazon but its a good thing I didn't check out

https://www.amazon.com/bouti1583-Dou...r+wooden+house

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I'm pretty sure the coconut is safe for the syrian hamster but I'm almost positive the wooden house is too small :/ If there are any hideouts, toys or tunnels suitable for syrian hamsters please let me know!

Both those houses are two small even a bit small for a dwarf ham really!
The coconut should be fine but be careful with hanging ladders, make sure there's no fall risk.
I'm not 100% sure but I think tubes/entrances should be at least 8cm & if you're looking for a house for your ham to sleep in then you probably want something around 20cm.

you can make a DIY hideout by cutting a shoe box in thirds. Use one of the ends and provide a lot of substrate so they can burrow. My Hamster seems very happy with this set up.

Both seem to be to small. You can do alot with cardboard. They really enjoy destroying those here!

Multichambered wooden homes are also really nice. Hutches meant for guinea pigs can be nice to. A sputnik XL can be a fun colorfull addition to any cage.

It isn't so much that the first two houses are too small as that the entrances need to be large enough for a Syrian - I think it's minimum 6cm diameter entrance. The first hut is quite cute and might be nice as an extra hide, if not as a main house, plus it has a little ledge on top - as long as the entrance is big enough. Although if it's sat on top of substrate that isn't too much an issue as they can dig down a bit.

The second one I wouldn't bother with. The coconut looks to have a big enough hole - I'd just be a bit worried about feet getting tangled in the ladder, but probably fine if it's fairly low down or over a shelf and not at a height.

It can be really hard to find Syrian sized toys and as the others say an upturned shoe box with a hole cut in makes a good house/nesting box. Large cork logs and tunnels (sold in reptile shops) are good too - interesting texture and something to climb over.

Most toys sold for hamsters are dwarf sized. Rat sized toys are about right.
