Introducing Kiara Chaos
Hi to any members here who may remember me and hi to any new members as well. Some of you may remember i had 2 dwarf hamsters after all my Syrians passed late last year. My little dwarfies passed back in September and i've been hamster less since and hadn't had any interest in getting any new hammies until now.
Yesterday i went and adopted from the petsathome adoption center a sweet long haired little girl. The assistant said she's around 14 weeks and had been in the store for a while so thats why she was up for adoption.
Here's some photos and small videos of her:

She seems quite large for her age and im a little bit worried about her being pregnant so if anyone could maybe tell from these photos/vids that would help alot thank you

Re: Introducing Kiara Chaos
Congratulations. She looks lovely. She looks quite round, but it could just be the way she is sitting.

Well done for giving her a loving home. At the right time, a little hammie captures your heart!

Re: Introducing Kiara Chaos
Welcome back to HC! I am so sorry to hear of all of your losses, but I am glad that the hammy-sized hole is now filled with such a lovely ham to love and adore. Congrats on giving Kiara her loving, forever home with you. I hope that the two of you have many wonderful years together. She is absolutely gorgeous in the pics and videos. I do not know if she is pregnant, but I'm sure a more experienced hammy owner or breeder will be able to help you soon. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that she is not pregnant. Have fun with your cutie. I look forward to getting to know her and seeing more pics whenever she is settled in more and have you have the opportunity. Btw, Eros says hi!

Congrats on giving Kiara a wonderful home. She is gorgeous!
She does look quite round in the pictures and videos - although I don't know for certain if she is pregnant or not - finger crossed she isn't, A breeder may be able to tell you if she is or not.
Also I'm sorry about your previous losses

Re: Introducing Kiara Chaos
Thanks everyone for all the nice replies I've been leaving her to settle in but she's been curiously coming over to my hand whenever im giving her food or readjusting her water bottle (she keeps knocking it over). Its also so nice to be back here and catching up with people's threads.

Re: Introducing Kiara Chaos
Thanks BorisPasha and Rads, so far so good no babies so im a little more at ease maybe she's just a big girl. She's probably the most skittish hamster i've ever had but i know its still early days and she's still settling in
I thought i'd share her cage setup today, its all red and blue because i originally wanted a male but she likes it. The red tube is separating a big pile of bedding and goes under the red shelf and near the Popsicle stick house
And the lady herself (not the best pic) from a taming session i had with her last night.
