Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
I'm sure he'll love the house. Glad he is hamstering along well.

Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
Sounds as though Jeeves has been having fun at night! I'm sure he'll love the house too.

Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
Thank you ff and BP. I am also looking forward to being able to tell you all more but Jeeves clearly was not pleased with his only outing so far. He refuses to be tempted to put his nose out for any treat I am holding. However he has learnt that I will give up and then put it in his little Rodipet treat bowl not far from the entrance to his house. Then he will sneak out and nick it quickly even if we are watching TV not far away and lights on. Last night it was courgette. So he doesn't wait for lights out. That gives me hope!

Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
Lovely that he sneaks out for courgette It's early days. I put Newt's veg at the far end from his house, on the shelf, then when he's up there snacking I put the snooze cube in front of him and he walks in it and I lift him out that way. Or sometimes the coconut hut. They do seem to walk into things.

Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
Thanks for the tips Serendipity. I do know that he is ok as I hear him scratching about in his house. Presumably having a snack from his hoard. With no wheel in his cage yet, I hope he is getting enough exercise. His lovely new playpen is all set up for us to trip over, but no hamster to enjoy the toys yet!

Re: Welcome to Jeeves!
I have so nearly tripped over our playpen a few times - suprised I haven't broken it or gone flying and landed in it.
