Hi I got two syrian bro and sisther
from same litter
they're 4 weeks old
born on Oct. 6
I was not plan to get another hamsters right this moments
befor but after I saw post cralist
this person say on a post hamsters had litter of babies
can't keep them all looking new home so I contect him about babies
he showed me on phone pictures of babies and mom hamster they're so cute
he told me there's 14 baby hamsters looking for good home
so I basicly wait for while babies growing up I went with my friend to see parents hamsters and babies hamster they're so cute
boys was staying with mom hamsters dad hamsters on himself girls was different cage he told me I was only contect him for hamsters so I was looking at boys/girls hamsters at same time
they're so tiny then you see hamsters from pet store
he told me dad hamsters accident escape from cage got mom hamster to had babies...there was two Umbrous three hamsters seem was Champagnes
boys was five babies are umbrous other three was seem Champagnes one is sable I was picking up babies of course they're all shy one of baby was scream for begin scared poor baby
so I was there for half of a hour pick those two bro/sisther so I decide named them Cinnamon(girl) and Coco(boy) girl remind me Cinnamon I had long time ago she passed away from old ages
did you know when they will be their own cages? 6 weeks? 8 weeks?
they're sleeping together right now so cute
I'm plan to leave them alone over one week not tame at all to not caught any wet tail illness because I heard it's cause by stress
I adopted hamster from cralist like 3 years ago
sadly she passed in two hours befor RIP Ruby I don't know why she was smallest of litter
she was one month old but she was size of 4 weeks old guy..
I was told myself never from cralist ever again but I decide to gave them loving home for this hammys

I'd seperate them now. I'm pretty sure I've seen the breeders on here spectate their hamsters by gender at about 4 weeks as it's not long after that they can breed. I'm sure someone will correct me if I've got that wrong but you don't want to risk an accidental litter so if they're old enough to be away from mum, I'd say they're old enough to be in their own individual cages.

I agree about separating them now. They are very young to be adopted really - usually 6 weeks is the earliest to go to new homes I think, but I'm sure they'll settle in just fine. It must have been awful having a hamster die from wet tail, but doesn't mean it will happen again. I think the kind of stress that causes wet tail is much more than just separating them - it's more from bad care and environment and bad handling so I'm sure your two will be fine. You could put their cages next to each other maybe, so they can still say hello

really?I saw breeder get babies hammys adopted out when they're 5 weeks old some breeder get babies adopted in 6 weeks old but I guess it's really depend on them I washed 40 gallon tank(Latte's old cage)about one week ago with Bleach he had serious wet tail illness
after that I used Dawn wash out more then 7 times after that is safe to put new hamsters in there? should I wait more longer?
