Default Suitable wheel?

So I am getting Rosa a new wheel. Does anyone have the Love wheel? I figured it's a knockoff. But I know they don't have "silent spinner" brand wheels in this size. Link below.

How big is she? Unless she's small for a syrian that wheel might be too small.
Never seen on before but it does look like a silent spinner copy.

She is normal size. I thought 8.5 in is a decent size?

Most people go for something a bit bigger than that but if she can run with a straight back in that size then it would be ok.

I wouldn't bother with that particular wheel or any Silent Spinner types. They tend to be poor quality and have a safety issue(it can come apart easily in most cases and that can cause injuries, although this is much more widely known within the hedgehog community than the hamster community).

I'd suggest a Silent Runner(12 inch for Syrians,9 inch for any other species). The stand is solid, the front is enclosed, and there's no axle which makes it superior to other wheels as far as safety goes. They tend to last a very long time too rather than stop working or stop being silent,so while they cost more than other wheels they're actually worth the investment.

8.5 inches is pretty small for Syrians by the way,I'd just aim for the Silent Runner in the 12 inch rather than take a chance on a smaller wheel.

I too have a knock off silent spinner(not that brand but I imagine similar) for my dwarf. I actually use the knock off spindle in my actual silent spinner because the spindle is much (MUCH) quieter than the ss.
The wheel itself is fairly good quality though the stand is awful. Had to replace.

Though if it’s for a Syrian I’d suggest a silent runner. More expensive but great quality and you don’t have the same gamble.

Do you have the sand track on it? I'm curious about it.

The 12" Silent runner is a great wheel - it might sound big, but it's also compact depthwise - not as bulky as silent spinner types. The 11" wodent wheel is good too, but the 12" silent runner is very stable and spins much better (and silently!). You can get either of those two online at exotic nutrition. The silent runner costs a little bit more than the wodent wheel but I reckon it's worth it. I've had no issues with mine.

Sand tracks aren't recommended for hamsters - they can get a nasty disease called bumblefoot. A stone or plantpot base under a water bottle can help keep their nails trim.

The sand track would make it potentially unsafe,so you'd want to stick to the Silent Runner as is with no different track. The sand track in particular could cause at least irritation over time, and even more severe potentially leading to injuries.
