Another nice playtime with Kenny. He went straight to his collection box this time and no hiding! We got in the bath as usual and he had a nice run around and a good climb over me as well. He was in good form tonight. Unfortunately now that I've put him back, he's started chewing the cage bars, clearly he wants to come back out but I have a long day tomorrow and need to get to bed! I feel guilty and mean though! Hopefully he'll stop soon and play with his current favourite which is a makeshift 'den' made from cardboard boxes, he loves dashing about in there.

Aww, he can't get enough of his outside playtime with you. Hopefully, all of his toys and cardboard will keep him occupied so he doesn't resort to bar chewing. He looks so cute in the pic, btw.

Oh no, Kenny was in a grumpy mood tonight! Got him out for his usual play and he was not seeming very happy, was frantic straight away and headbutting me and just bwing skittish in general. I gave him a grape and he gobbled it so maybe he was just hungry, but he did stalk rather moodily back in to the collection box as if to say I want to go home! So he's now back at Kenny Towers and seems happy enough but I'll keep an eye or him in case his bad mood is because he's unwell or something. I hope not!

I'm sure he is just fine, don't worry! Probably just being a moody boy lol.

Can't imagine a hamster head butting anything. One of my cats like to head but us, but as an affectionate gesture. He purrs like and when he does it so I think he likes the sensation.

I wouldn't worry too much, as AP said he's probably just being a bit moody, they do have off days when they prefer to be left to do their own thing sometimes, always good to keep an eye out for signs of possible problems but he's most likely fine.

Thanks guys. Yes he's fine again now luckily and has cheered up and is back to his cheeky but happy self. He's finally started using his running wheel more and was running for ages last night, those little legs must be tired out today!
