Wow, that surely must have been a heart-pounding scare for you! I'm so relieved that you were able to catch him before he had a chance to escape too far. Hams are SO silly - just when you think you are confident that your ham is much calmer now, he does something so hyper and crazy like that just to keep things interesting. I suppose he wanted to have a race with you since the Olympics are now here. He was reaching for the Gold at the Hamolympics when you caught up with him in just the nick of time, lol. Whew, such an exciting time with your amazing Kenny!

Haven't posted for a while! Kenny is still going strong and cheering me up when I'm sad. He still runs for hours on his wheel at night but during the day he doesn't appear much, he just loves his snoozing too much. Don't blame him! I do love the sound of him rustling at night, I fond it really comforting to know that he's happy and busy, but it drives my husband nuts, lol! I've taken a picture of him today that isn't blurred for once. Now he's an adult he's still super cute I think!

He is a cutie for sure even though he's all grown up now and is no longer the cheeky baby. He doesn't poop on me anymore which is a bonus! Although he is certainly still not the friendliest hamster in the world at times, he has moments of being nice and cuddly.

Aw, Kenny was so adorable last night, he appeared by the cage door looking hopeful so I got him out and he just sat on my arm and let me stroke him. He just sat there for ages! No trying to zoom away. He mustbhave been trying to prove a point because I said recently that he wasn't the most friendly hamster I'd ever known! He was like "look, I can be friendly when I feel like it!" Too funny.
