Kenny is such a cutie! He loves coming out most evenings for a cuddle and a run about. He prefers shorter sessions and does like to get back to his beloved Hamster Heaven after a while but he does seem to quite enjoy being stroked these days. He's so soft! I'm so glad he came into my life in the summer after the sadness of losing my last ham Crumble. He was a shy boy for a long time but now he is relaxed and pretty confident and does seem happy!

He does a lovely rich tone to his fur. Now that he's a bit older his strops have stopped and he's always a happy ham now. He used to sometimes show me his displeasure in various ways, but nowadays he's pretty chilled. Just gave the cage a major clean out, I thought he might be cross when I put him back in but he just wandered back in and got straight down to his usual business of wandering around and then munching some food. I just love watching him doing his Hamster Thing, they are such fascinating little things.

Whew, Kenny gave me a fright tonight! We were chilling out sitting on my bed when suddenly he decided to make a run for it! He just sprinted away and I had a job to catch him, he was a very determined ham for sure! Normally he is quite calm these days and will just wander around nearby, but no, tonight he decided to scare me and show off his sprinting and dodging skills. I finally managed to scoop him up in to a little tub that was near my bed, but, he did give me a scare haha, his cheeky side that has largely faded still comes out at times.
