Kenny has been a real comfort to me lately. We've been having problems with nusiance neighbours keeping us awake all night and it just feels like he senses my unhappiness. He's been coming to the cage door when he hears me and we've been having some really nice snuggly times. I honestly feel like he's supporting me. Sounds silly I know!

Not silly at all, I think they are very good at sensing things and it's lovely that he is being there for you.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your neighbours, I hope the situation resolves itself soon.

Aww, Kenny sure loves him mum! I couldn't help giggling at the story of him running back to you. I feel sorry for his dad though. I don't think it is silly to feel that hams comfort and support us when they know we need them most. They are very sensitive to all of our ups and downs and want to be there to help us how ever they can. Please give Kenny an extra cuddle for me for being such a sweet ham comforting you from the nuisances of your neighbors's noises. I do hope that they will become more considerate soon and you will able to get a proper night's rest.

Sorry to hear about your nuisance neighbours. Contact your local council, they'll have a number that people come out and measure the noise levels.
It's amazing how our hams sense when something's wrong. It's not silly at all to think he's supporting you. They really are clever.
