That's nice for you to have Kenneth taming nicely. He seems quite awake in the photo. He may be learning your routine and coming out to see you when you come home.
My male Syrian hamster, from years ago,(only ever had 1 male Syrian. All my others were female) learnt when I came home and would be sitting on top of his house waiting to come out of his tank.

He was naughty again tonight! Ran away from the collection box again so I gave up and closed the cage door. Then he climbed up to the top corner and started chewing the bars for dear life! So, I put the collection box back in and you've guessed it, in he goes. He is so cheeky! And then, as usual he gave me some waste products. Three little poops to be precise. We had fun again though and I do hope he likes me! He's getting huge although he doesn't seem to eat a massive amount.

I'm sure he not only likes you, but truly LOVES and trusts you, too! It is so evident that he has such a wonderful time playing with you, or he wouldn't insist on coming out as often as possible (after playing a silly game of "hard to get" first, of course).  Just trust in your growing bond and enjoy every second of it. Have fun!!!

JJust put Mr Naughty back in his cage after a playtime. He was being cheeky as usual, didn't want to be stroked today and he turned away from me in a sulk! See picture. It's ok though he cheered up when he got a little bit of a crust of brown bread to nibble on!

Oh, what a sulky boy turning his back! Poor Kenny not wanting to get stroked and made to go back into his cage, lol. Hammies are so silly and over-dramatic at time, huh? I'm glad that all was forgiven and forgotten after the bread crust, lol.
