Not been much doing in the Ghost camp, so not been posting, he is the same a nice hefty 200g in weight, and behaving much the same as normal, well what ever goes as normal for Ghostie that is.
Currently we have a house guest Mr Speedy who is our friends Syrian and is a remarkable near 3 years old...! You can tell he is quite the old man and possibly a tad arthritic though still eats like a horse, his eyes are nice and bright and his coat is in great condition.

Ghost's house guest Mr Speedy has gone home, I have never heard a Hamster dream so much he would chirp and chatter and run in his sleep with the occasional snort..! Every time I tried to record him he would stop when I opened his cage to put the phone near his igloo house.

Ghost was his usual self up late 02.00, I got him out to say hello and when stroking him I found on his back between his shoulder blades, a small sharp scab from what looks like an injury, but there is nothing in his cage to cause such an injury so I am a tad confused, needless to say I will be keeping an even closer eye on him.

Sorry to hear Ghost has injured himself some how. Glad it seems to have healed without problems.

Sorry to hear Ghost has hurt himself Rads, it does sound as though it's healed up ok though, it can be a bit confusing when they have little injuries, does he bar climb at all? Just wondered if he might have had a bit of a fall & caught himself on something.

Ghost is too lazy to bar climb, he spends at least 22hours a day in his nest..

Now the days are getting lighter and the evenings too, hopefully Ghost will be more active and sociable. Good to hear his scab is healing.

Ghosties are just fine, have no idea how he did it, but it had gone a few days later, no ill effects etc am still baffled as where it was it is highly unlikely to be self inflicted.
Weighed the little devil the other day and he is a steady 198g, and have seen him a bit more he is also using his wheel more too.
He will have a bit of turmoil soon as we are moving house to a 200 year old cottage in a country side village setting I'm sure Ghost will have many new smells etc to tantalize him.
