Not had much to report of late, I don't get to see Ghost very much he is in bed when I go to work in the evening and back in bed when I get home at about 03.00.
The only time I see him now is at weekends and then I often have to wake him, saying that he has his fresh veggies daily and when weighed last week he is a healthy 192g.
I have considered giving him up for adoption as he doesn't get a lot of interaction with any one, Mrs R has normally gone to bed when he gets up, I got him up tonight for a cage clean so that will make him a tad grumpy anyway.

I hope adoption was a passing thought that you have now rejected, Rads. Honestly. It is so cold at the moment and set to get colder that it is hardly surprising that Ghost is not up at 3 a m. When it's warmer he may be up when you get home. Changing everything he knows about home, sounds and smell etc is a huge upheaval. Not all hamsters want to come out and play every night. So long as the cage is big enough with plenty for him to do, a lazy boy is quite content hamstering around. Human interaction is not always top of a hamster's list. At least you see him and he is out at weekends.

Sorry to hear you haven't been seeing much of Ghost lately Rads but I agree with Coco.
I've been seeing less of all three of mine with this cold weather too, even though the house is warm they still seem to prefer their beds & get up later & go back to bed earlier, I'm sure things will change soon enough & you & Ghost will get to spend more time together again.

So cute! My little dwarf that I adopted from pets@home is called ghostbuster xD although since she's female I always call her ghost xD she gets really hyped up too and always likes to climb! I don't currently have one big cage so she currently has 4 cages coming up to 810.23 square inches of floorspace with an extra 330.46 of platform space x
