I'd take it out and leave it out Rads. The fumes and wet food can cause problems with respiratory infections and if the food goes mouldy as well that is not good for their tummies. He's a fickle little man but very gorgeous!

I have to agree with you as soon as I saw what he had done, the tubes came out all food was discarded as well as soiled bedding, though Ghost is such an odd character and at times quite unpredictable with what he does except for running in his wheel for hours at night...

Ghost doesn't have a play pen he likes the sofa to play on, and I use the hallway of our house as it is Hamster proof with the doors shut as a giant play pen, though he prefers to go sit by the front door either washing himself or just sniffing at the bottom of the door

Glad you removed the skywalk, these narrow tubes can become a smelly problem. I'm sure Ghost will get over his strop soon.
Master Harvey seems to find the front door interesting also. He thinks he can dig through the carpet lol! My hall is the only hamster proof place too. I don't use the narrow tubes, I go for the rat tunnels, they're bigger.

Ghost does the same trying to dig through the front door mat, Pip and Forrest used to do the same in the exact same spot....!!!!!

Aww I love that last pic of Ghost, it's his paws the position of his right on his left, so cute.
The bond between the two of you is so lovely.
The front door has been a fascination with most of my hams, Twinkle would try and climb up the door but slide back down and this would have me crying with laughter.

Aww, Ghost is such a cutie. I'm glad that you had the opportunity to post some more Ghost pics; I really enjoy seeing your sweetheart and hearing about all of his adventures, too. I love Ghost's expression in the first pic. His glowing ruby red eyes are so intense and inquisitive and his adorable ears are standing straight up in attention, lol. I so love the picture with him crawling on your arm; it is so sweet. He looks so intent on getting closer to you. The last pic is adorable, too. I also love his placement of his paws. What a cuddly looking little ham!
