Hi Evelyn,
So kindhearted of you to rescue them, but now they have their own cages, it's best to keep them apart and no to playing together. So looking forward to pics.
It angers me, hearing how they were just left, just as well you came along.

Hi and welcome to HC, Evelyn! I can't believe how terrible and irresponsible some pet owners are! Poor Rocko(y?) and Red, being abandoned like that is such a horrendous fate to put any animal through. I'm so relieved that your landlord found them in time and was wise enough to let you give them a loving, forever home. They sure are lucky to have you just as you are lucky to have these wonderful hammies in your life. Great job in rescuing them, Evelyn.

As everyone already stated, I also agree that Syrians should never be in contact with one another for any length of time even if well supervised. Although they appear to be getting along just fine at this time, it could prove to be extremely life-threatening to them since Syrians are extremely solitary or you could have one can become pregnant if they are opposite genders. I know you want the very best for them so regardless of how much fun they seem to have together, I think it would be for the best for all to enjoy them separately.

Good luck with the taming process and enjoy your new fluffies. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to learn more about you little ones and see pics whenever you have a chance and they both are settle in more. Have tons of fun!!!
