Re: Quigley
Cypher that's intereresting about the golden producing a larger yield. And it's good to know we don't have any GMO flax here yet. To be honest, I don't think there's much GMO stuff in the UK compared to the US. And, I might be wrong, but I thought there is a rule that in the UK GMO goods have to clearly marked as such.
Quigley is 16 weeks old today. Over the last 2 weeks he has gained only 2g (1g each week) and is now 166g. I think he has probably just about finished growing now and I won't be surprised if he is the same weight next week. I had hoped he might make it to 200g, but he can always fluff himself up to look bigger
Talking of fluff, his bald patch is "un-balding" nicely. As you can see, there is now a bunch of short hair growing over it. I wish I had a "before" picture to show you, but it used to be just bare skin there.
(Please excuse the slightly greasy fur, I have been rubbing small amounts of primrose oil into the skin because that's meant to be good for human hair loss. And Quigley has spread it all over himself!)

ThinLizzy I need to thank you for your tip about cooking beans. Quigley won't touch raw fine beans, but I gave him a boiled one and he ate about half of it in one go!

Re: Quigley
Thanks everybody! Quigley turned 17 weeks old on Sunday, when he was 167g. So, he put on 1g over the week. He's definitely just about finished growing.
Quigley's fur is growing back well. He has to have his two week follow up spot on mite treatment this evening (thankfully no vet trip required for that).
I've noticed that Quigley no longer has much of a skirt at the back. However, he has gotten a lot fluffier on the first 2/3rds of his body, particularly on his back and sides. I wonder if he is moulting out his baby coat and growing in his adult fur.
Here are some recent pictures.
