Re: Quigley
Serendipity it's a tough one. I'll see what he does tonight. The ideal scenario would really be if he stopped the bar chewing of his own accord! But, as you say, we don't want it turning into a habit. I'll keep an eye (or more realistically, an ear!) out for it tonight.
flowerfairy thank you. Had a bit of a tearful time sorting out his album this afternoon. Don't think I can look at it again right now, but I know in a while I'll be glad it's there to help me remember the good times.
BorisPasha he's quite confident, except when you try to pick him up. Then he turns into pure wiggly slippery stuff! I'm taking it slow and trying not to push him.
Hamsterita I don't really mind the noises. I am glad he will be having a silent runner, though. Other wheels can be dreadfully loud!

Re: Quigley
Oh my goodness he's just too cute! I love the picture of him reaching into the bowl. Just catching up a bit, silly ham destroying his mobile toy, none of my hams seem to play with their toys properly lol. As for the bar chewing, I wouldn't worry just yet. He's still new and it's likely just because he's stressed and settling. Scatter feeding or offering food chews could help to distract him if it's really bothering you, but it should subside in a few weeks. So happy you two are having fun together

Re: Quigley
AP I've fallen in love with Quigley. He is one of the most adorable male Syrians I've ever seen! He looks like he loved those peas! My boys have never tried them before.

Re: Quigley
Aww AprilPearl! Sorry I didn't post sooner.
Congratulations on Quigley, I'm not surprised you fell in love with him, just going through this thread and seeing his fluffiness, beauty, character, perfection. I could go on and on but, he melted my heart from the very first pic.
I'm so happy you've got a new man in your life and he is going to be so spoilt with your love and kindness. XXX
