I think I might order him the Alaska cage, he loves to climb so I want to get him something with bars and it's only £32

Kiln dried pine- as long as it's untreated, is completely safe to be used 
The Alaska would be a good cage, and I've heard no complaints for anyone who has kept their hamsters in it. If you could get hold of it, I'm sure your little one would love it!

I've found it on zooplus so I'll order that and make some platforms and ladders! I'd like to create shelves similar to erinsanimals Syrians cage

Does anyone have ideas on delivery times for zooplus, I ordered Tuesday night and it's still not at the yodel depot?
Online it says usually 1-3days

I'd probably give it another week before contacting them about it not arriving. Has it dispatched yet? I think my order took about a week and a half before I got it. Yodel does have a certain reputation about not being the best though.
