I need advice about my little man Humphrey
Right the other day I took Humphrey out of his cage as I do every night and he had a whit spot in his eye and today I took him out his eye is red I have posted a picture, his teeth have slanted because he chews the bars of his cage so I have ordered a new cage which Is massive and a tank cage should be here hopefully next week please help me

It looks as though there is blood in the eye, could he have hit it on something? It's also possible it's some form of burst blood vessel within the eye. I'd recommend getting him to a vet
As for the bar chewing, can you attach cardboard to the bars so he cannot chew them? This is a temporary fix until you get your new cage

Turns out their is a small animal vet up the road that I never knew about so I'm going to try and take him in the morning before work

Right so checked on Humphrey this morning and his eye seems to have gone back to how it was so it was something irritating him

so i took him to the vet anyway because im a paranoid person and thought what if its hurting him and the vet gave him eye drops to administer until its cleared up he fought me for a few days but i think hes accepted they have to go in now and his eye is practically healed

That's great that the vet visit was a success. Awesome that the eye drops are working & that your hammys eye is almost healed if not completely healed by now. That's so kind of you to rush him to the vets right away, glad she is loved by you
