Is there too much in her cage?
Sometimes i feel like i have too much in her cage but when i take it out i feel like she will have nothing to do Any opinions?
and there is tape on the wheel to keep it quiet don't worry she doesn't chew it!!
AND out of all the places she choses to sleep in the purple/green playhouse

Re: Is there too much in her cage?
I'd actually say there isn't enough. There's quite a lack of roof cover which is not good with hamsters.Plus, there are some safety issues I'm seeing as well such as the wire mesh piece(could cause serious injuries, bumblefoot, etc and must not be used in cages for any purpose),the taped tube and taped wheel which regardless of if she seems to chew it or not should never be used with any animal, and there are lots of plastic items(which should be avoided as no matter the construction plastic has terrible ventilation properties even with holes or slits added plus it is a serious risk for intestinal blockage as it cannot be digested if chewed therefore being indigestible is too risky to use in a hamster cage except a high quality safe wheel that is appropriately sized).

I don’t think so. If anything, you could put more in. I know you say she does not chew the tape, but if I were you I’d invest in a 12 inch silent runner instead of having to use the tape. They are the quietest wheels around and you wouldn’t have to risk her one day nibbling the tape.

Re: Is there too much in her cage?
Definitely not too much, I would try giving her a better house, either a nice wooden one or a cardboard box with no base & a door cut into one side, most of those things you have in there look quite small for a syrian ham, maybe think about getting some bigger tubes, perhaps a cork one which would be nice, some bendy bridges would make good hideouts & things to climb on, you could even put a free standing shelf in there to add even more & make better use of the space.
I agree about the tape, never assume your ham won't chew something they shouldn't as they usually will at some point.

Re: Is there too much in her cage?
Bumble foot is caused by walking on wire, so I doubt the little bit upright to hold the water bottle would cause a problem. People have similar wire on bin cages/diy cages
You can get bottle holders that are designed for tanks.
Many people have plastic toys in cages. They are ok. Keep checking them and if your hamster chews them then remove them.
Platforms may be a nice addition.

Re: Is there too much in her cage?
I don't think there's too much! In fact you could probably add more. My cage, which is the same size as a 40 gallon breeder, is no where near the size of the Detolf, but I load my cage up as much as I can to provide tons of interesting things for my Syrain, Butters, to do. I want to think that the more he has to do and explore in his cage, the less he'll be bored and won't become destructive. Here's a video of everything I have in his cage.

Re: Is there too much in her cage?
I would have said not enough, and a 12" wheel is really necessary for a Syrian, Pip has a Trixie 28cm wheel which are cheap to buy and quiet too.
Pip has multi level areas of her cage which extend to roof level and she even has a cave too...
