Boo the (not so scary) LH Syrian!
So I just got ANOTHER hamster, his name is Boo! He's a long haired grey Syrian hamster. I did "buy" him but he was too adorable not to get
Plus you never find LH up for adoption, and I really wanted a LH male.
Anyway he lives in the hamster heaven I got from a very kind member here who gave it away plus a bunch of accessories for free! He really loves it, he was running on his wheel for a while. Still no pictures yet, I hope to get one tonight.
I only got Link 12 days ago so it is a bit soon, oh well, I really wanted a Syrian to cuddle!
I'm so happy that I got him, there was 2 other LH syrians there, but the white one was a bit scared of me and Boo literally came right up to me on the glass and put his paws up, and I put my fingers up so they were touching through the glass and he really picked me, I couldn't get the other one after he did that to me. They do say the hamster picks you, and that's what I felt with him. I seriously can't wait for taming.
Picture of his cage that I got for freee!!!! I also got 4 wheels and so much stuff (if you're actually curious the ad is still there in the marketplace haha).

Congrats on Boo! His cage looks really good - you must been so happy to get all the cage and all the accessories for free! Its so lovely that feeling of when they pick you and I'm sure you are going to form a wonderful bond together.
Looking forward to hearing and seeing more of him.
I've just noticed that Boo is in you avatar picture - he looks very sweet in his wheel.

Can't wait to hear more about Boo, and hopefully see some pictures too. I love longhaired hams (my Mushu has long hair). Can't quite see your avatar picture clearly enough to make him out though. That cage looks great, too! Is the name a 'To Kill a Mockingbird' reference?

Re: Boo the (not so scary) LH Syrian!
Congrats on you getting your sweetie Boo! What an adorable name, and I love that the two of you chose one another! You must have also been so thrilled to get the cage and all of the accessories for free. Yippee for you and your Boo!!!! The setup looks marvelous and tons of fun. Good luck with the taming process. I look forward to seeing pics of your sweetheart Boo and reading more about him whenever you have a chance. Eros sends a whisker kiss to Boo!

BoredHamsters, do you think the penthouse attachement would still fit? Thinking about adding this on for my boy but he loves his penthouse.
