Marti and her dad look lovely.

Maybe Marti would enjoy the thicker cardboard tubes sold for hamsters. Or you may have to collect Uber's from family and friends.

Lovely to see you and Martina back. She looks as though she's grown since I last saw her! She's looking especially pretty in that fourth photo - very elegant. Her dad is gorgeous too - I see where she gets her looks

flowerfairy, Disney actually is in high demand among local breeders now. I think he fathered about five litters in the last year. Everyone wants to have hamsters that pretty. But Marti is the best of them all, of course

CMB, maybe I'll order some of those tubes, thanks for the advice! My friends already consider me weird hamster lady, but I'll try to get them to share theirs.

AP, Marti grows with every second, for sure! I feel like she's 1/4 guinea pig sometimes.

But I think she just believes that she's too beautiful to limit herself to normal hamster sizes) She wants to show as much of her gorgeous coat as possible

Burakki, I'm just catching up on your lovely thread. I love the latest photos of Marti with her toilet tissue rolls. Isn't it funny how we spend so much money getting all of these more expensive toys, but some hammies just tend to be infatuated with the simplest and least expensive toy. It's just like a child at Christmas spending hours playing with the wrapping paper and bows instead of the actual presents.

Eros goes through hers in no time flat as well, so I now resort to getting the very thick and long rolls used for the extra durable aluminum foil paper, and they tend to last must longer. Maybe that will help.

Thanks for sharing the gorgeous pic of Disney for Father's Day, as well. He is truly gorgeous! No wonder Marti is so absolutely stunning, she received her glorious beauty from her dad. LOL - Marti being 1/4 guinea pig!

Burakki lol many people asked if my first ham was a guinea pig, and he was only 215g, so smaller than many here. How much does she weigh now? I know females are generally bigger.

Dreamtree1234, I've spent about half of my birthday gifts budget on her toys and she cares nowhere as much about them as about simple things

thank you for the aluminum foil paper roll idea! I recently threw one away because I thought it was too narrow to use for Marti's purposes and didn't think that she could just gnaw at it. I'll wait for the next empty one and see if she likes it!
AP, weighted her just for you, she's 163 grams at her four months. Not sure if she's planning on getting bigger, but I'm pretty sure she is.

Its been lovely catching up with Marti. She sounds very mischievous and adventurous.
Marti looks very beautiful in all those photos - I especially love the 4th one. Her dad Disney is very handsome too! I can see where she gets her good looks from.
She looks very cute next to her paper towel tube - wow, she is very impressive at managing to chew through 2 in 24 hours!
