flowerfairy, Thin Lizzy , she got her reward for being my little tidy angel))
AP, BP, I could make money out of having her clean others' cages
Marti had a trip to the kitchen table yesterday.
She really liked the towel. Probably because it's fluffy and smells of food.
She tried her first peanut.
A couple days before she was very busy choosing a healthy snack.

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
I bet she liked the towel because it is fluffy, just like her! She does have very big eyes which look so cute in the second photo. I think each eye is about as big as the piece of peanut she is tucking into!

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
Absolutely love the story of Martina's great escape to the kitchen. She was probably trying to help herself to a few more delicious treats. What a sneaky, smart girly she is! I love how she was proudly walking back to you. What a silly, confident fluff!!!
The pics of her eating her treats are GREAT! She looks totally content in having it all to herself.
You sure are quite lucky she loves to do human activities like housecleaning. Eros tends to be quite clean, but she has never even thought to do such a thorough cleaning in her nest as Marti has. I think that the two of them should most definitely have a chat so Marti can inspire her has well. Great job helping out! I think that you should have some extra and much deserved spoiling and tons of treats galore!!!!

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
Glad Marti was okay after her adventure to the kitchen - its impressive how far they can get in such a short space of time. How sweet of her to clean out her nest when you and your mum cleaned your apartment.
Beautiful photos of the gorgeous Marti's adventure on the kitchen table. Looks like she enjoyed trying her first peanut and choosing herself a healthy snack.

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
Good to see she enjoyed the trip to the kitchen. I find my hams have all loved getting to visit the "big place of food"
Like Marti demonstrated, Duncan loves breaking into the nut jar

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
AP, haha, her eyes kinda look bigger because she has an "eyeliner" - black hairs around her eyes))
Dreamtree, Marti would be very happy to instruct Eros on house(cage?)keeping
SKB, Drago, she is a very picky eater, so I think she would be happy to have total control over the kitchen))
Hamsterita, thank you! She's a handful for sure

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
Aww Marti looks so cute and perfect sitting on the kitchen table. I like the last pic with her face in the treat box. I sometimes let my boys jump in to the seed boxes, they get a few seconds to fill their pouches then I lift them out :P

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
All Martina did was follow the smells and she ended up in the kitchen, I can bet she looked so innocent when you found her.
These latest pics are so very beautiful, her coat is so smooth and shiny.

Re: Martina the brave ball of fluff
I'm back! Sorry for not posting anything for a while! I'll make sure to catch up on all the threads!
Anyway, Marti continues to grow and surprise everyone with her braveness and scheming abilities. She is perfecting her escape routine. Now when she gets a chance, she climbs off the sofa, hides somewhere to make me think she went behind it, and the moment I move to go check behind the sofa, she makes a run for it across the room. I'm suspecting she has teleportation powers because she always manages to end up in a completely different place than the one I lost her in. I don't know how she manages to do that, because I always look carefully if I know she's hiding somewhere. The little rascal even managed to learn how to open her ball! I now have to close the lid extra carefully because otherwise she'll be able to open it.
Apart from that, I now know what her favorite toy is. It's paper towels rolls. She has some kind of obsession with them. At first, I used them to make her toys with treats inside, but when she started destroying them to bits even after all the food was gone, I tried giving her just the rolls without anything inside and she was ecstatic. She managed to destroy two in 24 hours. She now has a whole pile of shreds which she rearranges, choosing the ones that are still big enough and destroying them further. I don't know where to get more rolls if she continues at the same speed. I can't use a whole roll in a day)))
Here are some photos of Marti's latest adventures!
In honor of the Father's Day that was this weekend, here's a photo of Marti's father. His name is Disney
