Dreamtree, Marti has her moments of being nice and polite, though I expect a death glare from her if I try to give it to her once more. I should be happy she doesn't know my cousin who loves cucumbers. She would've tried to get some sense into him probably

Ghost is not keen on cucumber either, when I tried him with it all he did was sniff at it and look up at me as though to say " you expect me to eat that?"
Marti is looking very cute though, with such an expressive face too.

Master Harvey used to like cucumber the first few times and when he turned his face away I knew he wasn't keen on it. I did leave it in his cage and I later found it in his loo area and peed on. That's his way of telling me not to give him it again.

Hello, my darling fellow hammies and their hoomans! I hope you didn’t forget about my glorious self. It’s me, Martina the Brave and the Wonderful. My silly mommy totally neglected this forum and even my instagram for a while, which is unforgivable! How else will you all learn about my latest antics?
My mommy tried to explain that she got into something called “grad school” and now she has to do something else other than appreciate me. Ridiculous! I am the most important part of our household, doesn’t she know?!
Apparently she doesn’t, because a couple weeks ago something white, small, and barking appeared in the house. It was loud, too active and it went to bathroom everywhere! The hoomans surrounded my cage with different objects to not let it get to me and it totally blocked my view of the big flashing rectangle I like to watch! Even worse, a couple times the creature moved the objects around my cage so that my tubes disconnected and I couldn’t get where I wanted! The first time I decided to go behind the flashing rectangle because I missed it and the second I went to my treat box, but it was too high to get to it without sitting on my mommy’ s hands so I just sat next to it, looking angry, so that my hoomans would get the hint and spoil me a little more. Thankfully, after a few days of this creature’s presence, the older hooman started sneezing and coughing due to something called “allergy” and the creature went away. My mommy seemed very sad, I don’t know why, though. The house is so quiet and peaceful now. I made sure to comfort her, though. Let her remember how incredible I am. She’s been talking about getting me a little brother, which I’m having mixed feelings about. So, I’ll be on my best behavior. Maybe.
Anyway, I’m going to have my mom take some more pictures of me, so that you saw how I’m doing and then I’m gonna go and check how you all are doing.

It sounds like you've been having to put up with a lot Marti, with your mum being so busy and the strange creature joining your household. Glad to hear it's settled down now and the creature is gone. Little brothers can be ok, you can teach them tricks and blame them when you do something naughty. We have a lot of fun doing that, our mum never knows who the mischief maker is as we all just point a paw at the hamster next to us

Ruth, thanks! I work on it very throughly every day to keep it shiny. It was something called Maltese, but mommy said that she used to have a westie and she even has a tattoo of it on her forearm!
