Re: Newt's thread
Such sweet photos of Newt. I really love the photo of Newt in his fuzzbutt - he looks so cute. It's also lovely to see Newt enjoying some sweetcorn (sweetcorn is also very popular here with Pumpkin). I'm sure Newt is very happy with his labyrinth house!

Re: Newt's thread
It's so wonderful seeing the adorable Newtie again. What lovely pictures of him, Serendipity! They are all great, but I have to say my favorite is the first one. He looks so inquisitive leaning forward to check out what's going on. He certainly has grown. What a handsome ham with gorgeous, large ears and expressive eyes. It looks like he is thoroughly enjoying his corn on the cob; it is so hilarious that it is larger than him. Did he manage to eat all of it or did he save some for later? I'm sure he loves his labyrinth house; it looks amazing and so much fun.

Re: Newt's thread
Newtie says thank you It was nice seeing him pop his head out of the top door of the labyrinth house tonight. He seems to like the house.
I had cooked a pack of four corn on the cob and we ate 3 so let Newtie have a go at the leftover one. He got very excited by it but only ate 2 or 3 bits then ignored it.

Re: Newt's thread
Great photos! Newtie really does have the sweetest face Love the one of him in his snooze cube.
Looks like he's enjoying a nibble on his corn, the cob does look quite enormous next to him lol!

Re: Newt's thread
Lol, Newt's corn on the cob looks humongous so I would be quite astonished if he managed to eat all of it. Good to know that he uses portion control and, unlike greedy Eros, doesn't have eyes bigger than cheek pouches and tummy will allow, lol. What a cutie Newtie is!!! I have yet to try Eros on corn as I am not a huge fan myself, but I will have to make a point of doing so soon as I can see many of her hamfriends seem to thoroughly enjoy it. I could just imagine her trying to haul her cob to the inner depths of her nest though, lol.

Re: Newt's thread
I think the ham reaction would be the same for any fresh veg dreamtree I'm not a fan of corn on the cob myself, it was a treat for the others who are. I have such an image of a hamster dragging that back to the nest lol.
Thank you Cypher and TL - yes Newtie can still have a sweet baby face at certain angles. I'm having to keep a close eye when he's in the snooze cube now as I noticed he'd chewed a bit of the lining off, so using the coconut more for out of cage time now.
Thin Lizzy - yes he normally just gets a chunk of baby corn as his veg He is ham who will eat just about anything. Have never known him reject any veg or fruit. He occasionally gets a bit of strawberry or blueberry as a treat.

Yes it will be interesting to see what he does with it I noticed he hasn't been taking as much food as before so maybe he's now snacking on his hoard (now it's more easy to get at!)

Re: Newt's thread
I do love the pic of Newt with the giant corn on the cob and 'Is it all mine?' Now if that was MH, he would have dragged it into his house lol! He has that face of innocence and mischief, such a beautiful boy.
